Our Mission
Life Christian Church exists to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, and equipping believers to live out their faith with spiritual maturity, integrity, and purpose. Our mission is founded in the purpose and vision of Life Christian University, as we develop and support the five-fold ministry gifts of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers—who in turn equip the saints to become ambassadors for the Lord.
Through sound biblical instruction, discipleship, and Spirit-led ministry, we are committed to preparing believers to fulfill their God-given callings, advance the Kingdom of God, and carry out all ministry assignments within the divine destinies God has established for each believer.
What We Believe
We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the One True God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for faith and life. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died for our salvation, rose from the dead, and lives forever as our Savior and intercessor.
Humanity, though created in God’s image, is fallen through sin and in need of redemption, which is found only by grace through faith in Christ alone. We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, grow in Christlikeness, and serve the world in love.
We affirm water baptism and Holy Communion, the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, divine healing, and a life of ever-growing faith. We look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. We believe God created mankind male and female and ordained marriage as a sacred union between one man and one woman.
Our Pastor’s
Dr. Doug Wingate is a seasoned Bible teacher, minister, author, and the President of Life Christian University, where he provides spiritual and academic leadership with a strong commitment to biblical truth, excellence, and integrity. His ministry emphasizes faith, the authority of Scripture, and the practical application of God’s Word for everyday life. He is known for clearly communicating timeless biblical principles that empower believers to walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
Susan Wingate serves alongside her husband in ministry and leadership, bringing wisdom, compassion, and a deep heart for people. She plays a vital role in Christian education and administration, offering oversight, mentorship, and guidance to students, pastors, and leaders. Her dedication to biblical standards, organization, and personal care helps ensure that ministry and education are conducted with excellence and accountability.
Together, Doug and Susan Wingate are recognized for their servant leadership, steadfast faith, and genuine love for the Body of Christ. Their desire is to see individuals grow spiritually, leaders equipped, families strengthened, and churches empowered to fulfill the Great Commission.
Their shared mission is simple yet powerful: to glorify God, teach His Word with excellence, and help people walk in the fullness of all that God has called them to be.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
